Bihar Court orders FIR against Raveena Tandon for 'disrupting traffic'

    What's the story

Traffic jams due to celebrity visits in any city are pretty commonplace. But one traffic disruption invited trouble for actress Raveena Tandon after a Bihar court ordered FIR against her.

Reportedly, advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha has filed a complaint against Raveena and two others accusing them of causing traffic jam in the city during her Bihar visit in October.

    Here's more.

    The visit

Raveena visited Bihar to inaugurate a hotel

In his complaint, Ojha mentioned that Raveena had visited Bihar's Muzaffarpur district to inaugurate a hotel on October 12, 2018.

He alleged that because of Raveena's program, he was stuck in a traffic jam for a long time.

Ojha also sought that hotel owners Pranav Kumar and Umesh Singh should be made parties in the case along with the actress.

    Information

Ojha files complaint under Criminal Procedure Code

Accusing Raveena and the organizers of traffic disruption, Ojha filed a complaint under Section 156(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code. He requested the court to direct the police to lodge an FIR against Raveena Tandon, Pranav Kumar and Umesh Singh in the case.

    FIR against Raveena

    Court orders FIR against Raveena

Post Ojha's complaint, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Dipak Kumar ordered Kaji Mohammadpur police station in Muzaffarpur town to lodge an FIR against Raveena and two others.

We wonder what Raveena has to say in her defense.

While Ojha's displeasure after being stuck in jam is understandable, naming Raveena in the complaint isn't.

It's the organizer's responsibility to ensure common people aren't troubled, not Raveena's.
