'Bigg Boss Tamil 3': Madhumita files complaint against Kamal Haasan
Bigg Boss Tamil 3, which has been home to several controversies, grabbed headlines again after ex-contestant Madhumita filed a complaint against its host and contestants. According to media reports, the actress has accused Kamal Haasan and her co-inmates of mental torture. She further alleged that she was harassed to the extent that she ended up hurting herself inside the Bigg Boss house. Here's more.
Allegations: Bullied by the contestants, ignored by the host
In a complaint filed at the Nazarathpet police station in Chennai, Madhumita alleged that she was constantly bullied by the housemates during her stint on the show. She also alleged that when she raised her concerns with Haasan, he didn't pay heed. As a result, the Bhale Bhale Magadivoy actress was compelled to hurt herself in a fit of anger.
Channel is not co-operating with her, claims Madhumita
The former contestant also stated that the makers are not co-operating with her, post her elimination. Madhumita alleged that neither the channel has provided her the footage of the incident which she has been demanding, nor is it shedding light on the matter.
Madhumita tried injuring herself inside the 'Bigg Boss' house
For the uninitiated, Madhumita was ousted from Bigg Boss Tamil 3 following her self-inflicted injury last month. It was reported that she tried slitting her wrist inside the house, which is considered a major violation of BB rules. But, the actress defended herself saying she decided to take the grave step after facing the mental harassment, and not getting any support from Haasan.
Meanwhile, Vijay TV has also filed a complaint against Madhumita
On the other hand, Vijay TV, the airing channel, had also filed a complaint against the actress who threatened them to clear her dues. However, Madhumita said that she has requested the channel to settle the matter amicably, and also sought Haasan's intervention in this. Although the actress, reportedly, claims to have not received her payment, the makers said they have cleared her dues.
