'Bigg Boss 13': Salman Khan will continue as show host
In what would come as good news for Bhai fans, Salman Khan has confirmed that he will continue hosting the ongoing 13th season of popular Colors TV reality show Bigg Boss. Previously, several media reports suggested that the 53-year-old superstar might step down as the show host due to health concerns and a hectic work schedule. Here are more details on this.
'BB has extended the show and decreased my price'
Earlier, it was reported that Khan would discontinue as show host for the extended five weeks of the current season. However, on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode on Saturday (December 14), Khan, in an on-air video call to contestant Sidharth Shukla, confirmed that he is not leaving. He said, "Bigg Boss has extended the show for more five weeks and decreased my price."

Recently, as rumor caught up that he would step away from the show, Khan opened up about being a part of Bigg Boss. "A part of mine wants to cut that part (BB) and throw it out and the other part wants to keep it. And the latter is haavi [dominating] on the part that wants to throw it out," Khan told Mumbai Mirror.
Khan has hosted 10 out of 13 'Bigg Boss' seasons
Notably, Khan has been associated with Bigg Boss for a long time. He has hosted 10 out of 13 installments of the controversial show, thus far. In the said interview, he added, "It gets stressful, but I learn a lot. I get to know where the country is going, what's happening to values, morals, scruples and principles. We see it right there, with celebrities."
On Sunday, Hindustani Bhau was evicted out of 'BB' house
Coming to the ongoing season, on Sunday's Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Vikas Phatak aka Hindustani Bhau was eliminated from the Bigg Boss house, following a lot of drama. Now, the contestants who are still in the race to win the title include Shehnaaz Gill, Sidharth Shukla, Mahira Sharma, Madhurima Tuli, Shefali Jariwala, Himanshi Khurrana, Arti Singh, Asim Riaz, and Mahira Sharma.
Khan-starrer 'Dabangg 3' to hit theaters on December 20
Separately, on the work front, Khan is currently busy promoting his upcoming cop drama movie Dabangg 3. The much-awaited film will hit the theaters on December 20. Thereafter, he will star in Prabhu Deva's action movie Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai (Eid-ul-Fitr, 2020).
