'Bigg Boss': Koena Mitra says "possessive" boyfriend locked her once
Actress Koena Mitra has become the talk of the town after she opened up about her personal life on latest (Friday night's) episode of Bigg Boss 13. While chit-chatting with her fellow housemates, Koena said that she is currently not dating anyone, and that her "possessive" ex-boyfriend once locked her in her Mumbai apartment's bathroom as he didn't want her to leave for work.
Post breakup, Koena didn't "dare date anyone" for three years
Without giving out any name, Koena further added that her ex-boyfriend, who was from Turkey, often insisted that she met his parents. She also said that he once joked that after they were married and settled in Turkey, he'd burn Koena's passport so she couldn't leave the country. They broke up later, and Koena didn't "dare date anyone" for as many as three years.
"The show offers a lot of adventure; has strong fan-base"
Earlier, while speaking to IANS, Koena expressed her excitement to be on the controversial show, saying, "The show offers a lot of adventure, it has a strong fan base. My sister and cousins were thrilled when they got to know that I have said yes to this show." "Adventure is my biggest attraction and the show has a loyal set of viewers," she added.

Further, in an interview with Bombay Times, Koena opened up about undergoing plastic surgery and how it impacted her career. "This is the worst-kept story of our industry. Many have done it and many do it, but no one talks about it, as if it's a crime or a sin," she said. She further asked why only women are asked questions about cosmetic enhancement.
Koena has appeared in films such as 'Insan' and 'Anamika'
Hailing from Kolkata, Koena is a model and actress. She has appeared in Bollywood films such as Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, Insan, Apna Sapna Money Money and Anamika. However, she is best recognized for her appearance in the song O Saki Saki from Musafir.

Notably, Bigg Boss 13, hosted by Salman Khan, premiered last week on Colors TV.
