Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain had already established Shilpa Shinde as a name before she entered the BB house, and she maintained that. She took home Rs. 44 lakh after defeating Hina Khan and Vikas Gupta. Known for winning MTV Roadies 12 and MTV Splitsvilla 8 consecutively, Prince Narula nailed the BB Season 9 too, winning the trophy, and walking away with Rs. 35 lakh. He then was seen as a judge on Roadies, in Badho Bahu (his first TV role), and in Season 3 of Naagin. Currently, he is a contestant on Nach Baliye 9 with wife Yuvika Chaudhary.

Gautam Gulati left Diya Aur Baati Hum midway to appear on Bigg Boss. He eventually won the show, and prize money of Rs. 50 lakh. One of the most talked-about contestants of Season 8, he made headlines with his romance with co-inmate Diandra Soares. Gauhar Khan's public affair with co-inmate Kushal Tandon seemed to have worked in her favor in BB Season 7, because she emerged as its winner. She can currently be seen in web-series, The Office, and Gathbandhan. She was also considered to be Hina Khan's replacement for Komolika (Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2). She later appeared in films like Fever, Begum Jaan, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, etc.
