'Bigg Boss 18': Theme, host, anticipated contestants—all to know
It's official! Salman Khan is all set to return as the host of Bigg Boss 18, after skipping the recent Bigg Boss OTT 3. The latest season of the popular reality show will premiere on Colors TV and JioCinema. A new promo for the show was released on Sunday night, featuring Khan explaining the concept of this season's theme: Time Ka Tandav (the havoc of time). Here's what's in store this time!
New promo hints that contestants will be bound by 'future'
In the new promo, Khan is seen standing atop a ticking clock, donning a dark blue shirt and a black suit. He explains that the Bigg Boss logo eye, which has so far been depicting the present, will now also guide us to the past and future. The actor then embarks on a time machine-like journey with hourglasses, masks, and cameras whizzing past him.
'Bigg Boss 18' to premiere in October
The promo concludes with Khan reiterating this season's theme: Time Ka Tandav. The caption of the promo shared by Colors TV on Instagram reads, "Iss baar ghar mein bhuchaal aayega, kyunki Bigg Boss mein Time Ka Taandav chaayega!" (An earthquake will strike the house this time, because the havoc of time will dominate Bigg Boss). The upcoming season of Bigg Boss is set to premiere on October 6 at 9:00pm.

List of anticipated contestant
Per Deccan Herald, Shehzada Dhami (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai), is among the anticipated contestants for this season. Nyrraa Banerji, who wowed audiences in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 is also said to enter the house. Several other notable names are also rumored to be joining, including Dalljiet Kaur, Shoaib Ibrahim, Sameera Reddy, Sheezan Khan, Nusrat Jahan, Karan Patel, Surbhi Jyoti, and many more. Some reports say that AI virtual influencer Naina will also join the show.
Khan's return to 'Bigg Boss' after OTT 3
Khan will be making a comeback as the host of Bigg Boss 18 after his absence from the recent Bigg Boss OTT 3. The OTT version was hosted by his No Entry co-star Anil Kapoor and saw actor Sana Makbul as the winner. To note, Khan last hosted Bigg Boss 17, which ended earlier this year. The 17th season was won by stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui.
