'Bigg Boss 18': Abdu Rozik likely to co-host with Salman
Tajikistani singer Abdu Rozik, who shot to fame during his stint on Bigg Boss 16, is reportedly all set to make a comeback on the reality show for its upcoming 18th season. However, this time around, Rozik will not be a contestant but will host several special segments of the show. There are also speculations that he might co-host the show alongside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
Rozik 'thrilled' to return to 'Bigg Boss'
Rozik expressed his excitement about Bigg Boss. He told ETimes, "I am thrilled to be back with Bigg Boss 18 in this new role. My time on Bigg Boss 16 was a beautiful journey, and I'm excited to bring my energy and passion to these special segments." During his time on Bigg Boss 16, Rozik became a popular name in India. His friendships with his co-contestants Shiv Thakare, Sajid Khan, MC Stan, Nikrit Kaur Ahluwalia, and Sumbul Touqeer Khan were much talked about among fans. They were collectively referred to as "Mandali." Rozik was also often hailed as the cutest contestant in the history of Bigg Boss.
'Bigg Boss 18' to premiere in October
Bigg Boss 18 is expected to premiere in October 2024. Unconfirmed reports suggest that TV actor and Bigg Boss 13 contestamt Dalljiet Kaur, and social media influencers like Abhishek Malhan, Mr Faisu, Deepika Arya, Dolly Chaiwala, Maxtern, and Thugesh have been approached to join the show as contestants. However, there is no confirmation from the makers' side.
