Salman Khan wants female co-host in 'Bigg Boss 13'
Undoubtedly, Bigg Boss is one of the most controversial reality shows on Indian television, but the negative reviews haven't stopped the makers from planning a new season. The 13th season of the show is already in pipeline and rumors have it that star-host Salman Khan has made a suggestion. The superstar wants makers to have a female co-host this time. Here's what we know.
Salman might take a backseat to give female co-host exposure
Salman, who is currently busy with his Eid release, Bharat, has been the host for nine years. "Salman felt that to add freshness to this year's season, the makers should get a female co-host. Salman might take a backseat and give his female co-host more exposure so that she can bring newness to the show," a source said. However, nothing has been finalized yet.
'BB13' might hit television screens in September
As far as dates are concerned, BB13 might hit television screens sometime between September and October. "BB13 will start telecasting from September 29 this time and given that the show is usually a 15-week affair, the grand finale is expected to be around January 12, 2020," a close source revealed. It will begin after Madhuri Dixit's Dance Deewane 2 gets wrapped up.
'Bigg Boss' might not have commoners this time
Reportedly, the show's format is going through a sea of changes. The team has decided to exclude commoners this time and have only celebrities. They are also thinking to shift the location from Lonavala to Mumbai so that Salman can shoot for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah. Looks like, Sallu has a lot of work to do.
Here are the celebrities who might make an appearance
If media reports are anything to go by, the makers have already started approaching celebrities. Celebrities like Vivek Dahiya, Jay Bhanushali, Mahhi Vij and former MTV Roadie Navjyot Gurudutta are in talks with the team and could be featured on the show.
