Goodbye Lonavala! 'Bigg Boss-13' to be shot in new location
What's the story
Just three months ago Bigg Boss 12 got its winner in television actress Dipika Kakar. And now, reports suggest that the makers have already begun preparing for the thirteenth season, for which the Bigg Boss house will be shifted from Lonavala. This was confirmed by Omung Kumar, who has designed the house and props for the Bigg Boss show for the last seven seasons.

"Right now, we are concentrating on Bigg Boss Marathi and preparing for that. It's going to be a blast. Later, we will begin the process for Bigg Boss. But yes, the location is shifting from Lonavala to a new place," Omung added.

'Bigg Boss' house created every year based on a theme
For the uninitiated, Bigg Boss house is created every year based on a particular theme. Some of the unique ones tried earlier include Double Trouble (Season-9), Heaven-Hell (Season-7), Aircraft (Season-8), etc. This time too, the house will follow a certain theme, which however has not yet been decided, Omung said. Notably, the amenities present inside the house also vary with the theme.

At times, 'BB' house has common bedrooms, at times different
At times, the house has common bedrooms and at times, there are different rooms for boys and girls. The BB house has a living room where the participants can talk to Salman Khan, the host, during the weekend ka vaar. There's a common kitchen and a lawn area where tasks are performed. The house also has a swimming pool and a gym.

Coming back to the location, Lonavala has been home to this popular reality show since its launch in 2006. Although Bigg Boss 5 witnessed a change in location and was shifted to neighboring Karjat, it was later moved back to Lonavala.
