'Bigg Boss 13': Everything to know before tonight's premiere
Bigg Boss 13 premieres on Colors TV tonight at 9 pm and it seems host Salman Khan is all packed with surprises this year. Unlike last year, Bigg Boss 13 will only feature 13 celebrities and no commoners. Also, apparently, this year the show will reach its finale in just four weeks. Why is that? And who are the celebrity guests? Let's find out.
Bigg Boss 13: What time will it air?
Tonight will mark Day 1 in the Bigg Boss mansion. It'll be aired every weekday at 10:30-11:30 pm on Colors and if Weekend Ka Vaar episodes continue, they would likely be aired at 9 pm. Bigg Boss 13 will also reach its "first finale" in four weeks. Could there be more than one 'finale'? We would have to watch tonight's episode to find out.
Here are all the 13 'Bigg Boss' contestants
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 13 will only have celebrity contestants. They include Saath Nibhana Saathiya's Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Balika Vadhu's Siddharth Shukla, Uttaran's Rashami Desai and Aarti Singh, actor Koena Mitra, Naagin actor Mahira Sharma, Splitsvilla's Paras Chhabra and Ashwini Koul, Kala Shah Kala's Shehnaaz Gill, Dalljiet Kaur of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Madhubala's Vivian Dsena, model Asim Riaz, and music composer Abu Malik.
This year, contestants will stay in the 'Bigg Boss museum'
Leaving commoners out of the house isn't the only change this year. The makers have also shifted the show's sets from Lonavala to Goregaon Film City. Called the Bigg Boss museum, the vibrant house is created by art director Omung Kumar. The house boasts a 93 camera set-up to monitor the contestants' every move and a furry little pet, Fluffy, to keep them company.
Meet the 'Bigg Boss' museum's 'malkin': Ameesha Patel
What else? Bollywood actor Ameesha Patel will be the 'malkin' of the house. Ameesha would be seen assigning tasks to our celeb contestants and will stay tucked away in a secret room from where she will keep a close watch on everyone.
