After Amitabh, Bhumi faces monsoon woes; gets stuck on flooded-road
The relentless downpour in Mumbai continues to cripple normal life. With a number of roads submerged, it's not just getting difficult for the aam aadmi to commute in Mumbai, but also for celebs. Bhumi Pednekar faced one such ordeal, who while on her way to the sets, got stuck on a flooded road for four hours. She also shared her plight on social media.
"There is just no wayyy... Cause it's all flooded"
Through an Instagram video story, Bhumi said that she was heading towards Khopoli for a shoot in her car, which got stuck on a submerged road. The video also showed how people on the roads were trying to make their way through the water and the lined-up vehicles. "There is just no wayyy... Cause it's all flooded," the Shubh Mangal Saavdhan actress stated.
'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas' trailer launch was rescheduled
Interestingly, Bhumi isn't the only facing commuting issue in this rainy season. Recently, Vicky Kaushal too had shared a similar video on his Instagram story as his car was struggling through a submerged road in Mumbai. Sunny Deol also had to reschedule the trailer launch of his son Karan's debut movie Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, also starring Sahher Bambba because of rains.
Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow Pratiksha also got inundated
Meanwhile, the roads surrounding Big B's bungalow Pratiksha have also been flooded with rainwater. Given the continuous downpour the city is facing, the water had reportedly found its way to the bungalow premises, creating inconvenience in walking in and out of the house. To note, his another bungalow Janak (which the senior actor uses as an office) also got submerged in rainwater in July.
Pratiksha is prone to monsoon's adverse effects due to location
Apparently, Big B's Pratiksha, which is located in Juhu, has been a frequent victim of the rainwater. Reportedly, it is more prone to face adverse effects of the heavy rains in the city, given its location, as it is close to the sea.
