Busan International Film Festival: Manoj Bajpayee's 'Bhonsle' enthralls all
Manoj Bajpayee's next 'Bhonsle' had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea where it got an outstanding reception. Directed by Devashish Makhija, the film features Bajpayee as the terminally-ill lone wolf Maharashtrian cop Bhonsle. The 23rd edition of the festival, which started yesterday and will go on till October 13, is being held in Busan, S-Korea's second-most populated city.
Film nominated for the Kim Ji-Seok Award
Retired against his will, in politically tumultuous Mumbai, Bhonsle finds himself forging an unlikely companionship with a 23-year-old North Indian girl and her little brother, while the raging conflict destroying the world around them reaches his doorstep, giving him one last battle worth fighting for, but it might just be too late. The poignant film has also been nominated for the Kim Ji-Seok Award.

Makhija, producers Piiyush Singh (Indie Muviz) and Saurabh Gupta walked the red carpet at the festival.
