Jackie Shroff allows only Krushna Abhishek to mimic him
Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff has given comedian Krushna Abhishek exclusive permission to impersonate him. This move follows Shroff's lawsuit filed in the Delhi High Court in May 2024 against unauthorized commercial use of his name, images, voice, and the moniker 'Bhidu.' Shroff's legal team argued that such misuse could mislead consumers into believing products are endorsed by the actor.
Shroff commended Abhishek's talents in mimicking him
Shroff personally called Abhishek to commend his impersonation and grant him permission to continue mimicking him. In an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, Abhishek reportedly disclosed that he is the sole person authorized to mimic Shroff. He revealed that Shroff had praised his impersonation, stating that no one else could imitate him as convincingly.
Abhishek to feature in upcoming film with Shroff
Interestingly, Abhishek is slated to star in the movie Welcome To The Jungle, where Shroff plays the villain. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Raveena Tandon, Rajpal Yadav, and Shreyas Talpade. It's a spiritual sequel of Welcome Back. Currently, Abhishek is part of the comedy-cooking show Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment and will also be seen in The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2.
