Becoming an actor was not a childhood dream, says Meezan
When asked about his Bollywood debut, Meezan said that becoming an actor was never his childhood dream, but it was "Sanjay sir who believed in me." About the debutant, Prerna Singh, CEO of SLB Productions, said that she found his face very versatile. "We have signed him for 3 films and continue our aim at BPPL to give the industry more talent," she added.
Bhansali personally trained the newbies, wanted them off social media
Bhansali, known as a perfectionist, groomed the two newbies himself, and also ensured that they stay away from media limelight. He also wanted them to be a surprise package, and so asked them to go off social media completely. Such a hard taskmaster Bhansali is that Ranbir Kapoor once said that he quit while assisting SLB in Black, as "Sanjay had gotten too much."
SLB's next directorial project 'Inshallah' has Alia, Salman in lead
Apart from Malaal, Bhansali is also looking forward to direct Inshallah starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Notably, the actors will be seen sharing the silver screen for the first time. Inshallah will hit the floors in September after Salman wraps up Dabangg 3. Reportedly, he will have a start-to-finish schedule for the Prabhudeva directorial, also starring Sonakshi Sinha.
