Bhagyashree's comeback film will be Telugu remake of '2 States'
Much to the delight of all her fans, Bhagyashree will soon be returning to the silver screen. She will make a comeback with the Telugu remake of Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer '2 States'. The 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' actress was last seen in a film called 'Red Alert: The War Within' in 2010. Here are the details about her comeback.
Bhagyashree will reprise Revathy's role in the Telugu version
To be directed by debutant Venkat Reddy, the film will have Bhagyashree reprising Revathy's role, who played Alia Bhatt's mother in the original. Actor-writer Adivi Sesh will play the male lead while veteran actor Rajasekhar's daughter Shivani will make her acting debut in the film. An official announcement will be made on March 24.
'2 States' did wonders at the box office
An adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's best-selling novel of the same name, '2 States' was Arjun and Alia's maiden Rs. 100 crore grosser. The film was helmed by the first-time director Abhishek Verman and backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. '2 States' is the story of Krish and Ananya's marriage, who come from two extremely different cultural backgrounds.
