Benedict's regret
The nagging pinch of regrets
Cumberbatch revealed in an interview to Uproxx, that his experience playing Stephen Strange had been 'a wild ride'.
Although his experience was 'very cool', without a lot of regrets, he pinpointed the biggest regret as being unable to see how the audience reacted firsthand in the movie theaters.
He further revealed that he loved 'watching stuff' with American audiences for their reactions.
Wife's reaction
The reaction of loved ones
Although Cumberbatch could not gather audiences' feedback, he did witness his wife Sophie Hunter's reaction.
He said, "My wife was in shock, you know? She still is. She can't get over it. I think she really quite fancies Doctor Strange and he's gone".
Despite Cumberbatch assuring his wife Strange was gone, fans know better and are hoping he returns in 'Avengers 4'.

Cumberbatch thought similarly as he marveled at the wonderful affect stories still had on people.
Despite sucking them in and all the 'smoke and mirrors', stories still managed to give people a wonderful sense of involvement.
