The man of steel
Superman was created by artist Joe Shuster and writer Jerry Siegel, and appeared first in June 1938, in the Action Comics no.1. Superman possesses several superhuman abilities, and his appearance is iconic with a blue costume, a red cape, and a shield with 'S' on his chest. DC Entertainment co-produced two Superman movies, Superman Returns (2006) and Man Of Steel (2013).
