Barry Keoghan, the Oscar-nominated actor known for his roles in The Banshees of Inisherin and Saltburn, has reportedly been cast in the upcoming Peaky Blinders feature film on Netflix. He will star alongside Cillian Murphy, who will reprise his popular role as Tommy Shelby. The details of Keoghan's character are currently undisclosed. Last month, it was revealed that actor Rebecca Ferguson had also joined the cast.

Keoghan recently received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination and won the BAFTA in the same category for his role in Martin McDonagh's 2022 film, The Banshees of Inisherin. He also starred in Emerald Fennell's Saltburn, which earned him BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations. His upcoming projects include Bring Them Down—an untitled film from Trey Edward Shults, and potentially Amazon MGM Studios's adaptation of Don Winslow's novella Crime 101. It is slated for release on September 8.
