Former President of the United States Of America, Barack Obama, is gearing up for a completely new innings. As per media reports, after his departure from the White House, Obama is all set to collaborate with Netflix for multiple shows as a producer. His wife, Michelle Obama, will also be a part of the production team. Here's more.
Obama wants to tell inspirational stories
Netflix will provide a global platform to Obama and he intends to use it sincerely. "Mr. and Mrs. Obama have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire," said Eric Schultz, a senior adviser to the former President. "Throughout their lives, they have lifted up stories of people whose efforts are quietly changing the world for the better," he added.
Obama and Netflix are toiling ideas for the shows
Although nothing has been finalized yet, there are talks of a show that would have Obama holding up a conversation on issues such as health care, voting rights, immigration, foreign policy, climate change. In another show, the former first lady could be sharing her views on nutrition. The prospect of Obama teaming up with Netflix is certainly exciting for the digital audience.
