'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' sequel: Writing completed, Salman Khan's approval pending
Kabir Khan's emotional drama Bajrangi Bhaijaan is considered one of the most superior films in Salman Khan's filmography, one that really tapped into his artistic caliber. For the last several years, there has been chatter about the movie's sequel, considering the humungous fan following of the original. In a new update, producer K.K. Radhamohan hinted that the developments for the film are moving in the right direction!
Khan is yet to listen to the script
During a promotional event for Aayush Sharma's upcoming movie Ruslaan, Radhamohan shared with the media that writer V Vijayendra Prasad has completed the movie's scripting. He further added, "Once Salman listens to the script and gives his nod, the filming will begin," as reported by 123Telugu.com. It remains to be seen if Kabir will return to direct Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.
Earlier, Prasad spoke about the inspiration behind 'BB'
Earlier, Prasad had mentioned in an interview that the idea behind Bajrangi Bhaijaan came from a 1987 Telugu film titled Pasivadi Pranam, starring Chiranjeevi. "I didn't have anyone in mind while writing the story... And then, Salman Bhai heard the story and instantly came on board." He also added, "The intention was to make a film that doesn't increase the animosity between the two countries [India and Pakistan] but decreases it."

Co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the sequel is expected to continue this captivating narrative. Menwhile, you can watch Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Disney+ Hotstar.
