BAFTA 2025: Ralph Fiennes's 'Conclave' wins Best Film
What's the story
Edward Berger's Conclave was the biggest winner at the 78th British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards on Sunday.
The film won the Best Film award, beating its biggest rival and critically acclaimed movie The Brutalist.
Apart from the coveted honor, Conclave also won awards for Outstanding British Film, Adapted Screenplay, and Editing.
The film is led by Ralph Fiennes.

Conclave, adapted from Robert Harris's novel by Peter Straughan, also stars Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Lucian Msamati, Brian F. O'Byrne, Carlos Diehz, Merab Ninidze, Thomas Loibl with Sergio Castellitto and Isabella Rossellini.
The film follows Cardinal Lawrence (Fiennes) as he discovers a conspiracy within the Catholic Church after the Pope's sudden death.
Other films nominated in this category were A Complete Unknown, Anora, and Emilia Pérez.
