'Gangs of Wasseypur' team reunites for web-series 'Badshah of Begusarai'
The creators of the iconic film Gangs of Wasseypur, filmmaker Sunil Bohra and writer Akhilesh Jaiswal, are reuniting after 12 years for a new web series titled Badshah of Begusarai. The series, set in Bihar, will revolve around a powerful character often referred to as the "Pablo Escobar of Bihar." The project has been in development for two years and is expected to begin production in early 2025, reported ANI.

Speaking about the upcoming project, Bohra said, "The excitement of returning to a world reminiscent of Gangs of Wasseypur is palpable, with a similar mix of thrill and anticipation driving this collaboration." He added that the team aims to create a groundbreaking and unforgettable experience, capturing the essence of the criminal underworld with even greater intensity.
