Box office: 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' faces turbulent journey
What's the story
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, is facing a downward spiral in revenue, showing little promise of a resurgence.
Despite being released on April 11 to coincide with Eid festivities, the movie struggled with a lackluster pre-release buzz and received unfavorable reviews.
The movie's collections plummeted after the first week, barely maintaining a figure above ₹3cr during weekdays.
Here's a look at its Day 13 collection.

Why does this story matter?
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, BMCM initially stormed the box office with immense expectations, fueled by its star-studded cast, extravagant action sequences, and grand scale.
However, despite these promising elements, the film encountered a mixed reception from both critics and audiences.
Adding to its challenges, the film faced tough competition from Ajay Devgn's sports biographical drama Maidaan.
Although it trailed behind in numbers; Maidaan garnered positive reviews and benefited from strong word-of-mouth.
Revenue uptick
'BMCM' expected to fall short of expectations
In its second week, BMCM continued to underperform.
Despite earning its highest amount of ₹2.25cr on Sunday, the title experienced a significant drop in collections starting from Monday, with only ₹85 lakh recorded.
Early estimates suggest that on Tuesday, the film garnered a mere ₹80 lakh, bringing its total domestic earnings to ₹56.8cr.
The film, made on a lavish budget of ₹250cr, is projected to fall short of expectations with lifetime collections predicted to conclude under ₹65cr.

His only recent success was OMG 2, which saw positive box office results.
