    The action film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, is close to reaching the ₹50 crore milestone on its seventh day in cinemas, Wednesday.

    Trade reports indicate consistent box office performance throughout the week. Despite a dip in the second week, it maintained a respectable occupancy rate.

    The film was released on April 11, simultaneously with Ajay Devgn's Maidaan during Eid.

    'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' collected  ₹2.5 crore on Wednesday

    Since Monday, April 15, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has been steadily accumulating impressive box office numbers.

    On Wednesday, the film netted around ₹2.5 crore in India and is expected to continue its successful run into the third week, per Sacnilk.

    The overall occupancy rate in India on April 17 was registered at 11.21%.

    Behind the scenes of 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'

    The high-energy thriller, penned and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, features Prithviraj Sukumaran as the villain.

    Other significant roles are played by Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and Ronit Roy Bose, with Sonakshi Sinha making a special appearance.

    The film is a joint venture between Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films. It boasts a musical score by Julius Packiam and songs by Vishal Mishra, cinematography by Marcin Laskawiec and editing by Steven H Bernard.
