Bollywood film Bad Newz continues to perform well at the box office, earning approximately ₹0.3cr India net on its 26th day. This brings the movie's total earnings to an estimated ₹64.2cr India net, according to data compiled from various sources. The film, directed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective, features Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk, and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles.
Successful opening and subsequent earnings
Bad Newz had a successful opening, earning ₹8.3cr on its first day. The earnings increased over the first weekend, with collections of ₹10.25cr and ₹11.15cr on the second and third days respectively. However, the film saw a significant drop in collections on its first Monday, earning only ₹3.5cr, a decrease of 68.61%. Despite this dip, Bad Newz managed to maintain steady earnings throughout the week, ending its first week with a total collection of ₹42.85cr.
Decrease in weekly collections
The second week saw a further decrease in collections, with the film earning only ₹14.15cr, marking a drop of 66.98% from the first week's earnings. The third week followed a similar trend with earnings dropping to ₹4.55cr. Despite these drops in weekly collections, Bad Newz has managed to maintain steady daily earnings in its fourth week at the box office.

On its 26th day, the film had an overall Hindi occupancy of 10.91% across theaters. In terms of regional occupancy on the 26th day, Mumbai led with 16.75%, followed by Jaipur at 21%, Chennai at 46%, and Pune at 14%. Other regions such as Bengaluru (13%), Hyderabad (11.75%), Kolkata (12%), Ahmedabad (10.5%), Chandigarh (9.5%), Bhopal (10.75%), and Lucknow (7.5%) also contributed to the film's earnings.
