Ramdev to be waxed at Madame Tussauds Delhi in 'Vrikshasan'
Citing the increasing popularity of Baba Ramdev, the authorities of Madame Tussauds have decided to carve his wax statue at its New Delhi branch. The Yoga guru and Patanjali co-founder yesterday visited Madame Tussauds London to give his measurements. At the prestigious museum, Ramdev's wax figure will be instilled in 'Vrikshasan', a Yoga pose.
His spokesman made the announcement on Twitter
The museum confirmed the development via a press release
Madame Tussauds, in a press release, said that the tycoon of Indian Ayurveda industry is set to be immortalized with his very own wax figure at New Delhi. His incredibly detailed statue will be placed among other iconic celebrities in an interactive zone where the visitors can strike a pose with him.
Ramdev could not contain his excitement
"I'm extremely pleased. The team that took my measurements was supremely talented; they were dedicated throughout the sitting experience. They have motivated me to keep inspiring and delivering the best to my followers. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the finished figure," Ramdev said.
He was in London to mark fourth International Yoga Day
On the occasion of the fourth International Yoga Day, Ramdev held a series of yoga sessions in London. He also visited other UK cities such as Coventry and Glasgow. While interacting with a news agency, Ramdev shared his plans for opening Patanjali stores here as well. "There is great enthusiasm and growing demand for Patanjali products in these markets," he said.
