'Baahubali' first non-English film to screen at Royal Albert Hall
Adding yet another feather in its cap, the multi-starrer magnum opus by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali: The Beginning became the first non-English film to be screened at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London, on Saturday. The special screening, that saw the film's director Rajamouli and actors Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati in attendance, even received a standing ovation from the audience. Here's more.

Many images and videos from the event, showcasing a jam-packed hall, have surfaced on social media. The screening was followed by a Q&A session with the director and cast of the movie. Moreover, the film's epic score composed by MM Keeravani was performed live during the screening. Notably, the legendary Royal Albert Hall was inaugurated 148 years ago, in 1871.

'Baahubali' did a business of massive Rs. 650 crore
Released in 2015, Baahubali: The Beginning, a Telugu-Tamil epic action film was a rage among audiences across the world. Made on a production budget of Rs. 180 crore, the movie garnered a record-breaking Rs. 650 crore at the box office. Apart from the aforementioned stars, the film also features Tamannaah, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Nassar. The movie's much-awaited sequel Baahubali 2 was released in 2017.
Rajamouli's period action film 'RRR' to release next year
Meanwhile, the acclaimed director, Rajamouli is currently working on his upcoming period-action film RRR. It is a fictional story, drawn from the lives of freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. It stars NTR Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt. To be made on a budget of Rs. 350-400 crore, the film is expected to release on July 30, 2020.
