Now, 'Baahubali 2' to roar at the Chinese box office
The latest Indian film to be released in China is the all-time blockbuster 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion'. Trade experts have already predicted that the Prabhas starrer will take the Chinese box office by storm. The first installment, 'Baahubali: The Beginning', did a humongous business of approx Rs. 802 crore in the neighboring country. 'Baahubali 2' had also emerged a winner in Russia and Japan.
The release date is yet to finalized
As per a media report, the makers of the revenge epic have received the censor certificate but are yet to decide on a release date. It will be interesting to see whether the S. S. Rajamouli directorial will be able to overtake Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' (Rs. 1,272 crore approx) to become the highest grossing Indian film in China or not.
Meanwhile, 'Hindi Medium' is ready to hit the Chinese screens
Another Indian film that will soon be released in China is Irrfan Khan starrer 'Hindi Medium'. The Saket Chaudhary directorial is slated to hit the Chinese screens on April 4. Upon its release in India, 'Hindi Medium' had garnered immense praise from the critics as well as the audience and emerged a surprise hit at the box office.
