'Kshanam' director wants due credit for 'Baaghi 2'
The trailer of 'Baaghi 2' has taken the Internet by storm. Tiger Shroff, along with his alleged girlfriend Disha Patani, has packed a powerful punch. However, all the appreciation for this Hindi remake of Telugu film 'Kshanam' hasn't gone down well with the director of the original. Ravikanth Perepu has expressed his displeasure over the writers not getting their due credit for the film.
Here's what Ravikanth said
"I was expecting that the makers had at least given the writers of 'Kshanam' their due credit. I know they had purchased the rights to remake but giving the writers their credit is essential as their movie is being made on a national scale," Ravikanth said.
Ravikanth is hoping it will end well
The Telugu director further said that he is maintaining a neutral stance on the matter as he is aware that his film has been adapted for the Hindi audience. However, he hopes that the makers will give due credit to the writers in the film. 'Baaghi 2' will be releasing on March 31.
'Baaghi 2' is getting all the love
Tiger has once again impressed one and all with his lethal action avatar. Also, Disha has been garnering a lot of praise for her short but effective stint in the trailer. A major highlight of the film has been its array of villains which includes Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Deepak Dobriyal and Prateik Babbar.
