'Avengers: Infinity War' triumphs Bollywood films, takes biggest-opening of 2018
'Avengers: Infinity War' has taken an unprecedented start at the Indian box office. Featuring an ensemble of 22 superheroes, the film has raked in Rs. 30 crore (approximately) on the day of its release. 'Avengers: Infinity War' has dethroned Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani starrer 'Baaghi 2' as the biggest opener of 2018. 'Baaghi 2' had recorded an opening of Rs. 25 crore.

Marvel's latest offering released in just 2,000 screens in India
What makes the Friday collection of 'Avengers: Infinity War' even more phenomenal is the fact that it released in only 2,000 screens across the country. On the other hand, 'Baaghi 2' had opened on 3,500 screens. Touted as the 'biggest crossover event in history', the film is storming the international box office as well. It has collected a massive $39 million from Thursday-night previews.
