Topping 'The Fate of the Furious' ($530 million), the Marvel film has emerged the highest opening weekend grosser of all time at the worldwide box office.

'Avengers: Infinity War' raked in $630 million (approximately Rs 4181 crore) in the first three days of its release.

Featuring nearly all the Marvel superheroes, 'Avengers: Infinity War' also became the highest North American opening weekend grosser.

It amassed a humongous $250 million at the US box office, surpassing 'Star Wars: Force Awakens' which opened to $248 million in 2015.

'Avengers: Infinity War' is the 19th film in what is known as the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Exceeding at the Indian box-office as well

'Avengers: Infinity War' took the biggest opening of 2018 at the Indian box office, beating Tiger Shroff's 'Baaghi 2'.
