Day before release, 'Avengers: Endgame' gets leaked by Tamilrockers
Despite all of Marvel Studios' desperate tricks - shooting multiple endings, not allowing even the actors to see the film, Avengers: Endgame has been leaked. This gigantic, highly-anticipated project of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was so secretive, the cast was only exposed to portions of their script, never allowed to hold the original. However, a camera-recorded copy of the film has surfaced on Tamilrockers.
The leaked copy reportedly emerged from China on April 24
The 22nd film in the MCU, Avengers: Endgame was supposed to release on April 26. Now, someone has leaked a camera-recorded version of the film on file-sharing website, Tamilrockers. The leaked version reportedly emerged from China, hours after the film was released there on April 24. Reports also suggested that the leaked version is "semi-rotated," "flickers constantly throughout" and has bad audio.
Filmmakers, cast request fans to not share spoilers
Days before the film leaked, the filmmakers, brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, had requested viewers to not give out spoilers of Avengers: Endgame. The official Twitter handles of Marvel Studios and actor Robert Downey Jr., who plays Iron Man, had advised viewers against sharing spoilers. Meanwhile, according to The Indian Express, several threads on Reddit have also leaked the plot of the film.

'Endgame' opening day collections pegged at Rs. 50 crore
However, since tickets have already been sold out for the opening weekend, it seems unlikely that the leak would affect box office sales significantly. Trade analyst Girish Johar has already predicted a Rs. 50 crore opening day collection at the Indian box office for Avengers: Endgame. "If all goes well, it will earn Rs. 150 crore on its first weekend," Johar added.
