'Avengers 4': Gamora might return, all thanks to time travel
'Avengers: Infinity War' broke hearts worldwide when Thanos snapped his fingers and our beloved superheroes began to disappear. However, before the climax, there was another death, one that affected even the villainous mad Titan. Gamora was sacrificed for Thanos to get the Soul Stone. Now, a fan theory suggests Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana, might return in 'Avengers 4'. Isn't this exciting?

Gamora's return was not a big secret anyway, as star Zoe Saldana let it slip that she would be returning to the sets of Avengers 4. However, it was unconfirmed whether her character would be back properly or as flashbacks. Notably, since Gamora did not die the same way as the other superheroes, it is unlikely she would be resurrected the same way either.

Saldana's video was posted on December 2017, when both Avengers movies were being shot back to back. However, if fans notice closely, the dress Gamora is wearing in the video is markedly different from the one she wore in 'Infinity War'. In fact, it looks exactly like her dress from the first movie 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. This has fueled time travel theories.
Will Avengers turn back time to defeat Thanos?
Saldana's video substantiated a popular fan theory. Since Dr Strange used the time stone in 'Infinity War' to see all possible outcomes, fans have concluded that the only chance the Avengers have is to travel back in time and stop Thanos. Seeing Saldana in her Guardians of the Galaxy outfit, it begs the question- is this the point where the Avengers will return?
