What does Feige's message mean?
Decoding Feige's comment about 'Avengers 4' trailer dropping later this year, we can conclude that the title of the film will finally be revealed, ending fan speculation. He said that 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' is 'on hold' following director James Gunn's exit over controversial tweets. This could signal the cancelation of the franchise or could mean that a replacement director is being sought.
The future of Marvel is here
With 'Avengers 4' concluding the current phase, Marvel will have new heroes stepping up. Following Disney's takeover of 20th Century Fox, the X-Men and Fantastic Four could also show up in the MCU. Currently work is underway for an Eternals movie, a standalone Black Widow film and Loki and Scarlet Witch's streaming shows. However, the most important news is Namor's possible introduction.
Decoding the introduction of Namor
Although Feige was clear that Namor's introduction was in preliminary stages, it makes sense for Marvel to introduce one of their oldest comic characters. More importantly, Namor is Marvel's version of DC's Aquaman and they will be eager to unfold their own underwater world soon.
