'Avengers 4': Post credits scene might feature Eternals
Marvel has the whole world eagerly waiting in anticipation for Avengers 4 to release, that will see the epic conclusion to Avengers: Infinity War and the mad Titan, Thanos' quest for universal extinction. Now, new information has appeared about the post-credits scene of the movie that will mark the end of Marvel's current phase within the cinematic universe. Read all about it here.
What will the post-credits scene be about?
The post-credits scene for Avengers 4 will most likely feature the Eternals who are expected to play a massive part in the upcoming phase of the MCU. Eternals is the fictional race that remains the defenders of the earth and offshoots of the same process that created life on earth. Their enemies are the Deviants, and Thanos is said to be a hybrid.
Why do we believe the post-credits scene will feature Eternals?
The proof of an Eternals post-credits scene has been hinted at since Marvel is looking to cast two roles of the Eternals immediately. The roles are of Karen and Piper or Sprite. Moreover, Kevin Feige, Marvel director, had earlier confirmed an Eternals film was under works, being written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo and possibly being directed by Chloe Zhao, known for The Rider.

Why are we sure it appears in 'Avengers 4'?
Fans might question how we are sure the Eternals post-credits scene does not appear in the Captain Marvel movie, considering Marvel's immediate need to cast actors is compounded by the fact that Captain Marvel releases before Avengers 4. Further, being a cosmic Marvel movie, it would seem likely. However, Eternals should logically appear in Avengers 4 to encapsulate the enmity between Deviants and Eternals.
Why does Eternals play such a big role?
Eternals would play a major role in Marvel films' next phase as it would allow Marvel to explore the cosmic realms through these characters. While Marvel had earlier done this through Guardians of the Galaxy, it seems unlikely now, since volume 3 has been stalled after director James Gunn was fired following sexual harassment charges. This makes The Eternals pivotal to Marvel's expansion plans.
