Box office: No takers for 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha'
The romantic thriller Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, directed by Neeraj Pandey and featuring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, has raked in ₹10.40 crore at the box office by its ninth day of release. Despite a slight increase in daily earnings on Sunday, the film's weekday collections have been less than many recent big releases. It also stars Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar and was released on August 2, clashing with Ulajh.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film made only ₹0.30 crore on its ninth day. The film will likely take another week to reach the ₹15 crore mark. The movie has not been received well commercially too, and panned for its slow, predictable, and outdated storytelling. It's Devgn and Tabu's third and second release of the year, respectively.

Devgn and Tabu have a long history of collaboration on various projects over the years including films like Haqeeqat (1995), Thakshak (1999), Drishyam (2015), Golmaal Again (2017), De De Pyaar De (2019), and Drishyam 2 (2022). In 2023, Tabu was seen in Devgn's Bholaa, a remake of the Tamil movie Kaithi (2019). However, unlike their previous movies, this time, the jodi has been more of a miss than a hit.
