Atlee to unveil 'Baby John' footage at Big Cine Expo
The Big Cine Expo 2024, an annual event bringing together theater owners, design consultants, equipment manufacturers, system integrators, project management professionals, and industry stakeholders, is set to take place on September 30 and October 1. This year's edition will feature an exclusive preview of Atlee's debut production Baby John. The film stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role and is co-produced by Murad Khetani.
'Baby John' preview to have measures to prevent leaks
As per a Bollywood Hungama report, the Baby John preview will be held on the first day of the Big Cine Expo. To prevent any leaks, attendees will be asked to leave their cell phones outside the screening area. The organizers will ensure that no one is able to record or take photos during the screening. This measure is being taken to maintain the exclusivity of the footage.
Big Cine Expo's history of exclusive film previews
The Big Cine Expo has a history of providing exclusive previews of upcoming films. In 2023, Boney Kapoor presented scenes from his critically acclaimed film Maidaan, featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead. The previous year, attendees were treated to exciting scenes from the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. This tradition continues with the exclusive preview of Baby John at this year's expo.
'Baby John' to hit theaters on Christmas
Baby John, directed by Kalees, is slated for a Christmas release on December 25. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. It is co-produced by Khetani's Cine1 Studios and Atlee's A For Apple Productions, with backing from Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios. The film's promo will be attached with Singham Again, as confirmed by Deshpande in a recent interview with the above-mentioned portal.
