Chaitanya, Sobhita will split in 2027? Astrologer predicts
Astrologer Venu Swamy has stirred up controversy with his prediction about the future of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's relationship. Swamy claimed that the couple, who recently announced their engagement, would end their relationship in 2027 due to "another woman's involvement." This prediction has sparked outrage among fans and the public, leading to a police complaint against Swamy by the Telugu Film Journalist Association (TFJA).
Swamy's prediction drew massive criticism
Swamy's prediction, shared in a video on social media platforms, has been met with widespread criticism for its speculative and insensitive nature. Per the 123Telugu portal, TFJA has filed a police complaint against him, condemning his video as inappropriate and harmful. Fans have also expressed their disappointment, with many calling out the astrologer for his disrespectful comments about the couple's personal life.
Later, Swamy clarified his prediction; and issued a statement
In response to the backlash, Swamy released a follow-up video explaining his prediction. He stated that his comments about Chaitanya and Dhulipala's relationship were an extension of his previous prediction about Chay's marriage with his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Swamy said: "I had vowed to never predict film stars and politicians' futures, and I will stick to my word. MAA President Manchu Vishnu has spoken to me, and I assured him that I will never predict film stars' future."
