Asha Bhosle criticizes modern women who call childbearing a 'burden'
Legendary Indian singer, Asha Bhosle, recently expressed her views on women who perceive childbearing as a burden. During a conversation with spiritual leader Ravi Shankar, she shared her personal experience of raising three children single-handedly while pursuing a successful career. "Nowadays, women think childbearing is a burden...I started working as a playback singer at the age of 10," she said. "During this time, I had three children...I executed all the responsibilities successfully and single-handedly."

Bhosle, who began her career at a young age, reflected on her personal journey of balancing work and family. She stated, "I did all this when I was a busy professional, working day and night. Yet, I looked after my children, their studies." The singer also expressed concern over the increasing divorce rates among couples today. "Nowadays, I hear about couples sending divorce papers every month... I feel that the love between them ends very soon."
