Aryan Khan to make big screen debut with Prabhas-starrer 'Hiranyakashipu'?
After impressing audiences with his voice-over skills in the recently released The Lion King, Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan will now be turning to the big screen. If media reports are to be believed, the SRK lad is making his much-awaited debut with the mythological-drama, Hiranyakashipu. The film's director Gunasekhar has apparently offered a meaty role to Aryan in his multi-starrer project, co-starring Prabhas.
'Hiranyakashipu' to bring together 'Baahubali' cast, pit Prabhas against Rana
As per a report published in in.com, Aryan has been approached to play the role of Prahlad in the movie. It will also star the Baahubali cast including Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty. Media reports further suggested that Rana will be essaying the titular role of Hiranyakashipu and will be pitted against Prabhas once again after their magnum opus, the Baahubali franchise.
"The team is hoping deal with Aryan gets cracked"
"Aryan has been approached to play the important role of Prahlad. The team is hoping that all falls into place and the deal with Aryan gets cracked. Meanwhile, the movie also stars Baahubali heroines Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty," a source was quoted as saying.
However, no confirmation from the director's side
Needless to say, this development has made Aryan's fans pretty excited, courtesy the hype surrounding his grand debut. But much to their disappointment, there has been no official confirmation from Gunasekhar or his team. Earlier, SRK had also said that Aryan is interested in filmmaking, for which he is pursuing a course abroad.
Meanwhile, Aryan seems to be more interested in filmmaking
"Aryan is studying to be a filmmaker and a writer. But, even if he wants to be a filmmaker, he needs to study for another five-six years," SRK had stated. It remains to be seen when and how Aryan makes his big debut.
