Arya Babbar takes a dig at Prateik's second wedding
What's the story
The recent Valentine's Day nuptials of Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee have stirred controversy in the Babbar family.
The private ceremony, at the Bandra home of Prateik's late mother Smita Patil, didn't have his father Raj Babbar, or half-siblings Arya and Juhi.
Now, Arya has publicly expressed his disappointment with a sarcastic remark about Prateik's second marriage.

'Mard toh shaadi karte rehte hain': Raj Babbar
Arya also revealed their father's nonchalant response to not being invited to Prateik's wedding.
In an Instagram video, Arya humorously recalled a conversation with Raj, where he asked how to respond if the media inquired about their absence at the wedding.
To this, Raj casually dismissed the matter by saying, "Mard toh shaadi karte rehte hain," implying men frequently get married and being not invited to one of them wasn't a big deal.

'Even my dog Happy has 2 girlfriends': Arya's humorous jibe
Arya further lightened the mood by joking, "My dad married twice, then my sister married twice, now my brother Prateik has married twice, and even my dog Happy has two girlfriends."
The statement subtly hints at the family's history of multiple marriages.
Raj was first married to Nadira Babbar, before his affair with Patil during the filming of Bheegi Palkein in 1982 led to his second marriage.

'Disrespectful' exclusion: Arya's criticism of Prateik's decision
Before this, Arya had expressed sadness over being left out of the functions.
He hinted at someone else's influence on Prateik's decision and called it "disrespectful" to his late mother, Patil.
However, Prateik and Banerjee are unperturbed by the controversy and firmly asserted that people who truly mattered to them attended their wedding.
