Arunabh Kumar is an Indian director who is known for his work in various web series. He is the founder of the OTT entertainment platform, The Viral Fever, popularly known as TVF. The platform is well known for delivering stories related to social issues in an entertaining way. Kumar was born on November 26, 1982, in Bihar and completed his B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur. After completing his education, he joined the production house Red Chillies Entertainment and worked under Farah Khan as an assistant director. Kumar served as an assistant director for the 2007 romantic fantasy comedy film ‘Om Shanti Om.’ He launched TVF after MTV rejected his creation titled ‘Engineer’s Diary.’ He has also appeared in the web series ‘TVF Pitchers.’ TVF has produced some popular web series like ‘Kota Factory,’ ‘Aspirants,’ and ‘Permanent Roommates,’ among others. Earlier, Kumar used to serve as the CEO of TVF but later stepped down after a former employee and some other women accused him of sexual harassment. After a hiatus of three years as a mentor, Sharma joined TVF again.
