Arshi Khan is an actress, internet celebrity, and model who has also appeared in various reality television shows. Khan was born in 1986, in Afghanistan and is a qualified physiotherapist. She was a participant in the Colors TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ season 11 and season 14. She is also the winner of the Miss Glory Earth 2014. After her eviction from Bigg Boss, she had spoken about the hardships she had to face after moving to Mumbai. Khan made her debut in Bollywood with India’s first 4D film ‘The Last Emperor.’ She made her debut in the Tamil film industry with ‘Malli Mishtu.’ Her appearance on Bigg Boss made her Google India’s second-most searched entertainer for the year 2017. In order to contest the 2019 Mumbai elections, she had joined the Indian National Congress but later resigned due to other work commitments. She has appeared in five music videos including ‘Nakhre,’ ‘Bandi,’ and ‘Nain Nasheele.’ In 2019, Khan received severe criticism for copying Lady Gaga and wearing a similar dress as hers at the Bigg Boss 14 afterparty.
