In Pritam Pedro, Hirani will not only be the showrunner but also the producer. The directorial responsibilities have been entrusted to his assistant director, Amir Satyaveer Singh. The series is a departure from Hirani's usual comedy-drama films like PK (2014) and Dunki (2023), venturing into the realm of crime thrillers while maintaining his signature humor.
'Pritam Pedro' to feature Massey and Warsi as cybercops
The series will revolve around two cybercops, Pritam and Pedro, portrayed by Massey and Warsi, respectively. A source from the creative team told Mid-Day that Warsi's character is a seasoned cop who solves crimes using traditional methods. In contrast, Massey's character is a young tech-savvy cop who employs technology to solve cases. The show will explore their contrasting personalities as they navigate through various crime-solving scenarios together.
