Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Armaan Kohli booked for attacking fashion designer
Former Bigg Boss contestant Armaan Kohli is back in the headlines, and once again for his violent behavior. The actor, who had assaulted his ex-girlfriend Neeru Randhawa, earlier this year, has now been booked for allegedly attacking fashion designer Nadia Aheli. Nadia claimed that she was assaulted by Armaan and his friend, and said that the actor even threatened her. Here are the details.
Armaan took Rs. 50 lakh from me: Nadia
In her interview to Spotboye, Nadia revealed that the entire conflict began over money. Nadia claimed that Armaan, along with his friend Dilip Rajput, had taken Rs. 50 lakh from her, which they later refused to return. "When I insisted that I need my money back, they started threatening me and even hurt me physically," she said.
Armaan, Dilip allegedly made unreasonable demands to Nadia
Nadia further mentioned that not just Armaan, Dilip also misbehaved with her, and made unreasonable demands to her. "Well, I have lodged an FIR against 3 people- Armaan, his friend Dilip Rajput and his servant Nitin. Armaan and Rajput made some unreasonable demands to me and I had no option but to complaint," she added.
FIR registered against Armaan for criminal intimidation
Confirming the news about the FIR, an official from Versova police station told Mid-Day that the complaint has been registered under various sections of IPC. "An FIR has been registered under Section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), 34 (common intention). We are investigating the matter," said the official.
But, Armaan claims to be innocent
Although this violent behavior isn't new for Armaan, but he has claimed to be innocent in this case. He said that his name is being unnecessarily dragged; he also assured to share his side of the story soon. "It's a complaint against someone else and my name is being dragged into this. It will be cleared, it's not a big issue," Armaan told Mid-Day.
Is Nadia dating Armaan?
Apparently, there have been speculations about Nadia-Armaan's affair. However, Nadia chose to avoid the question and maintained that she was friends with both Armaan and Dilip. "Well, you are asking some very personal questions. Okay, I would say that we're friends for sure," she emphasized. Nadia also mentioned that they have traveled abroad together.
