Arjun and Mehr announce separation after 20 years of marriage
Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr Jesia announced their separation on Monday and said they would want to be given privacy during this time. The couple married 20 years ago, and in a joint statement said they will carry on towards different destinations from now. They said they will always be there for each other and their children Mahikaa and Myra.

"After a 20 year long beautiful journey filled with love and beautiful memories, we would like to share, that all journeys have different paths and we feel that it is time for us to move on to different destinations henceforth," read the statement.
The couple reveals why they released a statement
In 2015, there were rumors that Mehr and Arjun are calling it quits. Back then, the couple had refuted the news. Their statement further reads, "Both of us being extremely private people feel strange to be making this statement, but such are the circumstances of our lives. Where the truth can get distorted and lost."
We will always remain a family, read the statement
"We are a family, our love for each other is forever intact and we shall always be there for one another and most importantly for our children Mahikaa and Myra," the statement further read hinting family comes first for the couple.
Rampal was once held responsible for Hrithik and Susanne's divorce
A few years ago, speculation was rife that Arjun Rampal was responsible for trouble in Hrithik Roshan and Susanne Khan's paradise. "It saddens me deeply that rumors become inevitable during celebrities going through such times. Mehr and I wish them only peace and love through these times," Rampal said back then. A few days ago, it was reported Rampal moved out of his house.
