Rishi Kapoor is coming back "very soon", confirms Arjun Kapoor
It's been almost a year since Rishi Kapoor went to New York, along with his wife Neetu Kapoor, for his cancer treatment. All this while, there have been speculations about the veteran actor's return. And now, Arjun Kapoor dropped hints about Rishi's return on micro-blogging site Twitter. The Ishaqzaade actor, in a tweet, indicated that Rishi would be coming back to Mumbai "very soon".

Notably, Arjun, who was in NY for his birthday celebrations with Malaika Arora, paid a visit to Rishi-Neetu. Overwhelmed with their hospitality, Arjun penned a heart-warming note for Rishi and lauded his inspiring fight with cancer. "Your fight back against this disease has been so so inspiring. Now we can't wait to see both of you back in Mumbai very very soon," he wrote.

Earlier, Rishi had also shared a beautiful picture from his meeting with Arjun-Malaika and thanked the couple for their visit. In the picture, featuring Rishi-Neetu and Arjun-Malaika, the quartet was all smiles as they posed together. Later, Neetu also shared the same picture on Instagram with a caption, "Fun evening with our very own Ghar ka bacha Arjun n the Lovely malaika".

Ever since Rishi has flown to New York for his cancer treatment, several Bollywood celebrities have made it a point to visit the veteran actor there. The list includes Karan Johar, Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone and Aamir Khan, to name a few. In fact, Neetu keeps the fans updated about all such visits by posting pictures on Instagram.
Rishi expected to celebrate his birthday in Mumbai
Meanwhile, there are reports that Rishi will be back in the country before his birthday on September 4. In fact, he himself stated that he is trying to return by August-end. "I am trying to return by August-end, depending on what the doctors at the hospital say. I have recovered well. Must be 100% fit by the time I am back," he added.
