Arjun Kapoor ends 12-year association with YRF Talent Management
Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor has reportedly ended his 12-year partnership with YRF Talent Management. The actor marked his 12th anniversary in the film industry on Saturday. Kapoor's career began with the film Ishaqzaade (2012), produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF), which also managed his talent and public relations. According to a source, "Arjun wanted to explore newer avenues and hence, took this decision."
Kapoor and YRF separated on amicable terms
A source told Bollywood Hungama, "Both Arjun and YRF parted ways amicably. He and YRF's head honcho Aditya Chopra continue to hold each other in high regard and will surely collaborate in the future when the right opportunity comes along." Apart from Ishaqzaade, Kapoor collaborated with YRF on films such as Aurangzeb, Gunday, and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, among others.
Kapoor has now joined Matrix Talent Management
Kapoor will now be represented by Matrix IEC Pvt Ltd, a company co-founded by Reshma Shetty. Matrix manages a roster of prominent celebrities including Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Alia Bhatt among others. Along with this change in management, Kapoor has also brought on a new PR team to handle his public relations.
Kapoor's recent and upcoming projects
Kapoor was last seen in The Lady Killer (2023), opposite Bhumi Pednekar. His upcoming projects include Singham Again, where he plays the antagonist Danger Lanka, and Mere Husband Ki Biwi co-starring Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. Additionally, Boney Kapoor recently announced that No Entry 2 will soon go on floors starring Kapoor alongside Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh.
