Arijit Singh buys 4 flats worth Rs. 9.1 crore
Bollywood singing sensation Arijit Singh has reportedly bought four flats in one building in Mumbai's posh Versova area. According to several reports, all these flats are situated on the sixth floor of the Savita Cooperative Housing Society, located at Seven Bungalows, Fisheries University Road, Goraipada. The singer has already paid Rs. 54 lakh in stamp duties. Here are more details.
The registry for these flats was done last month
Reportedly, one of the flats is spread across 32 square meters and costs Rs. 1.80 crore, while another, having an area of 70 square meters, is worth Rs. 2.20 crore. Meanwhile, the third flat sized around 80 square meters, cost him Rs. 2.60 crore, and fourth one (70 square meters) Rs. 2.50 crore. The registry for these flats was reportedly done last month.
Arijit reportedly earned Rs. 72 crore last year
Arijit has been singing in Bollywood for over a decade now. In Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list, which was released in December last year, Arijit was ranked 26th, with his total 2019 earnings being pegged at Rs. 71.95 crore. He worked on many major projects last year like Karan Johar's production Kalank, Shahid Kapoor's blockbuster Kabir Singh, and Chhichhore that starred Sushant Singh Rajput.
Arijit is known for songs like 'Channa Mereya' and 'Gerua'
At the age of 18, Arijit participated in reality show Fame Gurukul (that aired in 2005), where he was recognized by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. His most popular tracks include Channa Mereya, Tum Hi Ho, Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga, Uska Hi Banana, Aayat, Raabta, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and Gerua. Arijit also frequently performs at live concerts around the world.
Recently, Ranveer Singh rented a flat for Rs. 7.25 lakh/month
On a related note, actor Ranveer Singh rented an apartment for a whopping Rs. 7.25 lakh per month in Mumbai's Prabhadevi in the same building where his wife Deepika Padukone already owns a four-bedroom flat. Separately, in January last year, actress Alia Bhatt had purchased a swanky first floor flat in Mumbai's Juhu area at a price of Rs. 13 crore.
