In his Instagram post, Taneja urged his followers not to jump to conclusions or expect any official explanation from him. He wrote, "I'll remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life. Please don't expect any public explanation." "Please stop making any assumptions," he added.

Taneja shared his thoughts on the situation, saying, "Men are made villains very fast. We don't cry, we talk less and express less. Some of us are hardwired like that." He stressed that social media isn't the right place to air family issues and asked for understanding from his fans. The last appearance of Rathee on Taneja's Flying Beast Instagram page is from July. Since, his videos have featured other family members, including their daughters, but not Rathee. As soon as split rumors spread, fans started circulating a video of a spiritual leader's interaction with a lady, with people assuming the lady was Rathee and she was distressed about her husband cheating on her. Old videos of Taneja sharing how men tend to cheat following their child's birth also spread.
